Admission
$8 for adults, $6 for senior citizens (adults 65 and older), $5 for children ages 3 to 12. Free admission for children under 3 and members of Wildlife Conservation Society.

The charming 12 acre Prospect Park Zoo features three major thematic zones, a central court with a sea lion pool and gardens, and a "petting zoo" where goats, sheep and alpacas enjoy being fed. Say g'day to kangaroos and wallabies as you walk through their habitat. Animals include visitor favorites such as meerkats, red pandas, and monkeys galore, an aviary filled with colorful birds, and habitats with small Asian wildcats and the tiniest deer you've ever seen. The piece de resistance is the magnificent troop of Hamadryas baboons whose social interactions are always fascinating. The zoo features educational programs for adults and children, a small gift shop and state-of-the-art vending cafe. A living treasure of diversity and conservation in an urban setting, the zoo is open 365 days a year.
