Summer Field Trips Made Easy!
With BCAP Express, Brooklyn’s cultural community is at your fingertips! Combine two field-trips into one with visits to Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park Zoo for your day camp, school group, club or scout troop this summer. If you are looking for a fun and educational day for your campers, BCAP Express is the booking service for you!At BCAP Express, we handle all the hassles of scheduling, payment, and transportation between sites for only $275 for one group of 30. For just over nine dollars a person, you can have a guided visit to two of Brooklyn's premier cultural institutions, a place to have lunch, and a BCAP Express staff person to help you navigate between sites.
A BCAP Express day runs from 10am- 3pm, and is for youth ages 6-13. We offer hands-on activities and educator-led tours at our favorite cultural sites— so from a live animal encounter at Prospect Park Zoo to sketching in the galleries of Brooklyn Museum, your group will have an amazing interactive cultural experience!

The Day: 10am to 3pm
Morning: Part 1 takes place at the Brooklyn Museum
Afternoon: Part 2 takes place at the Prospect Park Zoo
This program is offered exclusively through BCAP Express.
Dates
Available Wednesday-Friday from July 11-August 10. Spots are limited so don't delay!
Cost per group: $275
(Up to 25 children and 5 adults per group) Organizations may book per day.
Payment
Advance payment is required. Fees must be received at least two weeks prior to the visit date or the appointment(s) will be cancelled.

Cancellation
If you need to cancel a program, your fee will be refunded, minus a $25 processing charge, provided you notify us at least two weeks in advance. Reimbursement will not be issued for "no-shows" or last minute cancellations.
Schedule Change
If you need to make a change to the schedule, please notify the BCAP director at least one week in advance. Not all schedule changes can be accommodated. Groups that arrive late without advance notice will lose programming without refund.
Confirmation
Program directors will receive confirmation letters from each site to be visited. Chaperones should bring copies during the visit.
Inclement Weather
BCAP Express will cancel programs due to inclement weather. All tours and workshops will take place rain or shine. Refunds will not be issued to groups that choose not to travel due to weather unless you are unable to travel to our site due to severe weather conditions. This must be verified with the BCAP Director ahead of time. Please contact us with any weather related concerns you may have before your trip is scheduled to begin.

Animals and the ancient Egyptians
Get ready for adventure with BCAP Express 2012: Animals and the ancient Egyptians. Discover the mysteries of ancient Egypt at the Brooklyn Museum and learn about the prestigious role animals played in their culture. Then visit the Prospect Park Zoo for a close encounter with some of their animals to learn what makes them so special. We'll also observe the Hamadryas Baboons, an animal once honored by the ancient Egyptians. This unique program is sure to be a highlight of your summer program ans is only available through BCAP Express.
